From idea to design in 12 hours

This shouldn't be possible.

However…

14:00 hrs: In pursuit of an idea. 250 people were divided into 5 groups of 50. To accelerate the design process each group were provided with three idea's companions: an illustrator, user experience guide and requirements expert. The illustrator captured the process of ideas generation and also worked alongside the group to support the visual design of the App. These illustrations were then used by the group to report back their idea in a plenary session.

16:00 hrs: The testing of the App. As each group reported back their idea, a writer documented the plenary session, creating a story and tag-line for each App.

18:00 hrs: From idea to design. Using the illustrations and documentation from the plenary session, a designer and writer created the storyboard for each App. Overnight, the storyboards were sent to Ludic's worldwide design team who turned the 5 App ideas into 5 Appdesign Wireframes.

02.00 hrs the next day: The Living Idea. After an iteration cycle, the Wireframes were sent to an overnight team. By 08.00am, the next iteration had been published and were on display.
